HISTORY

The Carlos Alonso White wine was born with the third generation of our winery, since until then white varieties were included in the production of red wines.

 

VINEYARD

Bodegas Alonso González has an area of 1 ha of the white variety VIURA, 0.5 ha of the white variety MALVASÍA and 0.2 ha of other white varieties. Located at 520 m. above sea level, with its clay-limestone soils.

 

VARIETY

80% Viura, 20% Malvasia

 

ELABORATION

After manual harvesting , the must is pneumatically pressed. Once the must has been obtained, it is cooled to 7ºC for 48 hours, the impurities are removed (decanted) and the alcoholic fermentation process begins at a temperature of no more than 13 ºC. Once fermentation is complete, it is stabilised and can be bottled.
